The series tells the story of Yusuke Urameshi. In this OVA special, Kirishima and all of Kuwabara's Gang make a cameo appearance where Kuwabara told the gang to leave Sarayashiki town and seek refuge.Yu Yu Hakusho ( Japanese: 幽☆遊☆白書, Hepburn: Yū Yū Hakusho) is a Japanese manga series by Yoshihiro Togashi. The morning after, at Yusuke's apartment, all of Kuwabara's Gang's memories of the event were erased, so they wouldn't be burdened with it by the darker truths involving Sensui and then Kirishima, Okubo and Sawamura were sent back home. Then, Sarayashiki's number-one delinquent carried all the troupe and his enemy on his back, till Yusuke and Botan found them all. Out of kindness, Kuwabara also spares the life of Seaman, causing the teenager to turn good. With it, he slices through the monster and wounds Seaman, saving himself and his friends. Kuwabara carries Mitarai and all his friends on his back.įaced with the possible death of his friends, Kuwabara's powers awaken and he gains the power to slice through dimensional barriers with the powerful Dimension Sword. In fact, Kuwabara is unable to access his powers during his fight against Kiyoshi Mitarai (aka Seaman), a human teenager gifted with the ability to create indestructible monsters made of water. Seaman's Water Monster captures Kuwabara's Gang. Sawamura was suddenly abducted and Kuwabara defended Kirishima from a fatal attack from a mysterious psychic. After leaving the stadium where the concert was held, it started to heavily rain. In fact, Kuwabara and the whole gang are great fans of the heavy metal band, Megallica and were waiting for a whole year for this concert. Some episodes later, Yusuke and Kuwabara part ways after the latter decides to attend a concert with his friends. Kuwabara's gang as huge fans of Megallica. Kuwabara's Gang appeared when Yusuke and Kuwabara are up to their normal antics at Sarayashiki, where Botan was also present, disguised as a female student. In Episode 67, a month has passed after the Dark Tournament competition and all was back to normal. Kuwabara's gang and Botan at Sarayashiki. In both cases, Yusuke and Kuwabara avenge their defeats. He was also badly injured by a group of half breed demons in the manga who were masquerading as members of a rival school (while also impersonating Yusuke and Kuwabara). He seems to be the most impulsive and reckless, and is annoyed or excited much more easily than the others.Īlong with the rest of his gang, he attempts to save Keiko Yukimura from rival gangsters, but was knocked out by their leader in the ensuing street brawl. Kirishima is not frequently featured in the series, but when he is, he is portrayed as being very loyal to and respectful to Kuwabara. Strangely, in the manga, when Kuwabara's gang first appeared in the manga, Okubo and Sawamura appeared, but Kirishima was strangely absent but appeared when Kuwabara was extorted by Sakamoto (though there were a few generic members who never appeared again). In Episode 26, Kirishima was also able to (somewhat) correctly guess that Kuwabara was depressed due to the fact that he was "dumped" by a girl, since it was in fact Yukina who had gone back to the Ice Maiden village in Demon World. He seems to be the most intelligent member of Kuwabara's gang, though not by much (he received a 50 on his chemistry test while the others received far lower scores, Sawamura at 48, Okubo at 39, Yusuke at 12, and Kuwabara at 7). He is the tallest of Kuwabara's gang members. However, in the manga, Kirishima is a bishōnen with somewhat fairer (presumably blond) hair, making him stand out from the other members of Kuwabara's gang, while in the anime he is given a relatively generic appearance with a simpler face and messier hair. Kirishima is one of the few characters whose appearance changed drastically in the anime. Kirishima has light brown hair and brown eyes, his skin is a tan peach color, and wears the same color school uniform of the other members of his gang.
